About the KSRA
The Kentucky Squash Racquets Association was founded in 1986 by a group of dedicated squash
players, and carries on the tradition of promoting squash today.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Kentucky Squash Racquets Association is to promote the sport of
Squash in the region. It is this organization's mission to foster an environment, through
quality events and services, where the sport of squash thrives. The KSRA strives to grow
and publicize the sport, maintain fair and consistent play of the sport, provide play at safe,
sound, and regulation-based facilities, and tout the numerous health benefits of the sport--all
while enhancing the relationships and camaraderie that can only originate on the court.
The KSRA organizes six tournaments over the course of a year including:

Nicol and White in Louisville
Peter Nicol and John White were in Louisville for clinics
and exhibition matches on September 24, 2004.
Both Peter and John
played KSRA Executive Director, Muhammad Waseem Haq, in a one game exhibition match before playing each other in a best of three, no-holds barred, thriller match. The
afternoon was filled with two clinics where participants were able to take instruction from the World's best!!
Three Exhibition matches were held in 2001 between our Pro and Executive Director,
Muhammad Waseem Ul Haq, and three world ranked players. Two more were held in 2002.
Nicol and Walker in Louisville
In early 2003 the
KSRA and local squash enthusiasts were able to bring World #1 Peter Nicol and World #12 Chris Walker
to Louisville for a squash clinic and exhibition match.
